Âé¶¹¹û¶³ mourns the loss of former trustee James “Jim” Stivender who passed away on Monday, Oct. 4. He was a graduate of Howard College and later served on Âé¶¹¹û¶³’s Board of Trustees from 1958 until he was named an honorary trustee in 2019. He was named chairman of the board in 2003.
He was a walking example of Âé¶¹¹û¶³’s values and touched countless lives with his influence. Âé¶¹¹û¶³ will be eternally impacted by his service.
