Next week is National Library Week, and Davis Library at Â鶹¹û¶³ has some great activities planned to celebrate!

There is a Book Fair, April 15th and 16th from 8:00am to 5:00pm on the first floor in the library next to the circulation desk. A percentage of the proceeds go to benefit BackPack Buddies, a local charity that provides food for children in need.

Kim Herndon, Dean of the Library, and Assistant Librarian, Jane Daugherty, are coordinating the weeks activities.

"We’ll also be giving away a $50 gift card to Amazon.com and a $50 gift card for iTunes on Thursday and Friday," said Daugherty. You can register to win by submitting your name and Â鶹¹û¶³ email address at the Circulation Desk.

Other displays include 'Missiography' in the 2nd floor reading room. This features photos of Â鶹¹û¶³'s mission works from around the world.
