Âé¶¹¹û¶³'s soccer Bulldogs defeated Vanderbilt University in a dramatic double-overtime win Sept. 13 at the Âé¶¹¹û¶³ Soccer and Track Stadium. It was Âé¶¹¹û¶³'s third straight win this season over a team from the Southeastern Conference. Âé¶¹¹û¶³ posted wins earlier this season over the University of Tennessee and cross-state rival Auburn University.

It is Âé¶¹¹û¶³'s first outright victory over the Commodores. Âé¶¹¹û¶³ won a penalty kick shoot-out against Vanderbilt in the first round of the 2005 NCAA playoffs.
