Thursday, February 2 , is Alabama Gives Day, a special opportunity for Â鶹¹û¶³ family and friends to make a contribution to the university.

If it were not for donors, students like Molly Cox, a Â鶹¹û¶³ senior, would have missed out on the Â鶹¹û¶³ experience.

“Financial assistance made this unique college experience a possibility for myself and 98 percent of other Â鶹¹û¶³ students,” Molly explains.  “Without the generous contributions of Â鶹¹û¶³ donors, I would have not benefited from those pieces of the Â鶹¹û¶³ experience that are so distinct.”

Molly adds that Â鶹¹û¶³’s Christian setting has impacted her academics as well as her spiritual growth.

“My Â鶹¹û¶³ education has given me four years of encouraging professors, financial support, and a spiritual journey that shaped who I am today.”

On Thursday, head to Alabama Gives Day: Â鶹¹û¶³ to pledge your support of Â鶹¹û¶³.

As a member of the Class of 2012, Molly hopes you do.

“I have been blessed so much in the Â鶹¹û¶³ community,” Molly says.  “This is why I have made a gift, and plan to continue after commencement in May.”
