Âé¶¹¹û¶³ will hold its annual Family Weekend Friday-Sunday, Oct. 9-11. The program will include a variety of activities including a reception in the President’s home, State of the University address, Academic Fair, the Samford-Chattanooga football game and others.
Family Weekend will open Friday with check-in and registration from 4-8 p.m. in the Flag Colonnade of Beeson University Center. President Andrew Westmoreland and his wife, Dr. Jeanna Westmoreland, will host a reception in their home at 8-9:30 p.m.
Saturday will begin with late check-in and registration in the Flag Colonnade from 9-11 a.m. Greek life open houses are scheduled at 9-10 a.m. President Westmoreland will present his State of the University address at 10:30 a.m. in the Pete Hanna Center Hospitality Suite. Parents will be able to meet Âé¶¹¹û¶³ faculty members in the Academic Fair at 11 a.m.-noon in the Hanna Center East Concourse. Luncheon on the University Quadrangle follows at noon-2 p.m.
Âé¶¹¹û¶³ will meet Chattanooga in a Southern Conference football game at 3 p.m. in Seibert Stadium.
On Sunday, Family Weekend visitors will be able to choose between the sixth annual Family Weekend Golf Tournament at Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Oxmoor Valley at 1 p.m. and the annual Âé¶¹¹û¶³ Hymn Sing in Reid Chapel, a soccer match with Wofford and a Greenhouse Spa and Summit Shopping Trip—all starting at 2 p.m.
