Beebe Ray "Bee" Frederick III, a junior communication studies major from Montgomery, has been elected 2009-2010 president of the Âé¶¹¹û¶³ Student Government Association.

Frederick was elected last week by vote of the undergraduate student body.

Other newly elected SGA officers are Sam Dickerson of Booneville, Miss., vice president for senate; Jay Harper of Clinton, Ark., vice president for events; Terra Garmon of Gadsden, vice president for programming; and Tessa Pitts of Lanett, vice president for development.

The officers will take office at a banquet on Tuesday, April 28.
