Âé¶¹¹û¶³ will host its annual Family Weekend Oct. 10-12 with a variety of activities including a football game with defending national champion Appalachian State, a reception, golf, music, meals and other activities.

The President's Reception hosted by Drs. Andrew and Jeanna Westmoreland Friday, Oct. 10, will open the weekend. The Âé¶¹¹û¶³ String Quartet will provide music at the Brewer Plaza event.

The fifth annual Family Weekend Golf Tournament at Eagle Point Golf Course will begin a busy schedule Saturday, Oct. 11. A Greenhouse Spa and Summit shopping trip is also available from 8:30 a.m. until noon.

The annual Âé¶¹¹û¶³ Parents Association meeting featuring remarks from President Andrew Westmoreland begins at 10 a.m. in the VIP Suite of Pete Hanna Center. An academic fair and parent/faculty meet-and-greet session will follow at 10:45-noon in Hanna Center.

Luncheon on the Quad from noon until 2 p.m. will include music by The Hip Knuckles band and a pep rally.

The Southern Conference game with three-time defending Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) champion Appalachian State will kick off at 2:30 p.m. in Seibert Stadium.

The schedule Sunday, Oct. 12, will include a luncheon from noon until 1:30 p.m. in the main dining room of Beeson University Center and the annual Âé¶¹¹û¶³ Hymn Sing at 2 p.m. in Reid Chapel. The hymn sing was known formerly as the Old Song Sing-Along.
