Through Tuesday night's 8-3 win over Mercer University, the Âé¶¹¹û¶³ baseball team has won its last 16 home games, which is the longest home winning streak in the nation according to www.warrennolan.com.

The Bulldogs last home loss came on March 1 in a 5-4 loss to Saint Louis University. Âé¶¹¹û¶³'s streak is five games longer than the second-longest streak of 11 games, shared by three schools. The fifth-longest streak is 10 games by top-ranked Florida State University.

Through Wednesday night's game at Troy University, Âé¶¹¹û¶³ shortstop Michael Marseco has a 19-game hitting streak.

Âé¶¹¹û¶³'s 22-11 record is the best record in the history of the program after 33 games. The 2006 team, which won a school-record 34 games, was 18-15 after its first 33 games.
