Singer/songwriter Kate Campbell will perform from her latest album, Save the Day, at Â鶹¹û¶³ Sunday, Oct. 26.

The concert will be at 6 p.m. in Brock Recital Hall. Tickets are $20 and will be available at the door or in advance at www.samfordhomecoming.com. For information, call (205) 726-2807.

The performance is the concluding event of Â鶹¹û¶³'s 2008 Homecoming weekend. Campbell, an acclaimed folk artist whose songwriting is strongly influenced by her southern roots, is a 1983 Â鶹¹û¶³ graduate.

Her 11 recordings include the all-acoustic Sing Me Out and Twang on a Wire, as well as the gospel CDs Wandering Strange and For the Living of These Days.
