Scores of Âé¶¹¹û¶³ instrumental musicians will take to the stage Thursday, March 6, for the Wind Ensemble/Symphonic Band concert. The event will be at 7:30 p.m. in Brock Recital Hall.

The 43-member Symphonic Band will present Karl King's "Hosts of Freedom March," Percy Aldridge Grainger's "Ye Banks and Braes O'Bonnie Doon," Julie Giroux-West's "Mystery on Mena Mountain," and Malcolm Arnold's "Prelude, Siciliano and Rondo."

The 42-member Wind Ensemble will present Paul Hindemith's "March from Symphonic Metamorphosis" and "Symphony in B-flat, Mvt. III," Grainger's "Molly on the Shore," Arnold's "Tam O'Shanter," and John Philip Sousa's "Semper Fidelis."

Dr. James Smisek, Âé¶¹¹û¶³ director of bands, conducts both performing groups. The public is invited to the concert free of charge.
