Âé¶¹¹û¶³'s 2007 Homecoming court has been announced. Members were elected by vote of their respective classes in advance of Homecoming celebration this weekend (Oct. 19-21).

Court members and their hometowns are: freshmen Jenna Tanner, Hoover, and Hugh Smith, Columbia, Tenn; sophomores Elle Martin, Franklin, Tenn., and Alex Huguenard, Marietta, Ga.; and juniors Susan Macfarland, Winnetka, Ill., and Rocky Alling, Birmingham.

Senior class representatives are Christina Cesler, Cincinnati, Ohio; Ellen Donze, Birmingham; Mary Catherine Stone, Belden, Miss.; Jason Morales, Port Orange, Fla.; Cam Rogers, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and Nate Stenstrom, Evansville, Ind.

The Homecoming queen and honor escort will be announced at halftime of the Âé¶¹¹û¶³ football game against Austin Peay University on Saturday. Kickoff is 2 p.m. in Seibert Stadium.

A variety of Homecoming events will take place through Sunday, including an on-campus parade at 11 a.m. on Saturday.

Homewood mayor Barry McCulley will serve as parade grand marshal. This fall marks the 50th anniversary of Âé¶¹¹û¶³'s relocation from the East Lake area of Birmingham to suburban Homewood.
