Âé¶¹¹û¶³ accounting students Matthew Mitchell and Kathryn Murnane won top honors at the recent regional meeting of Beta Alpha Psi international business honor society.
Mitchell and Murnane were part of a six-member team that won first place in a leadership conference competition. Their winning project involved designing and building a product, staying within a budget, and preparing and presenting a marketing plan.
Âé¶¹¹û¶³ 200 students from schools throughout the southeast were in the competition, held in Nashville, Tenn., March 4.
Mitchell is a junior accounting major from Henagar. Murnane is a junior accounting major from Carmel, Ind.
Beta Alpha Psi recognizes outstanding students in accounting, finance and information technology.
