A prayer and memorial service in remembrance of the lives affected by Hurricane Katrina will be held Thursday (SEPT. 15) at 6 p.m. in Âé¶¹¹û¶³'s Reid Chapel.

The public is invited to the event, which will include a time of music and directed prayer and reflection. The program will last about an hour.

Josh Knierim, president of the Student Government Association at Âé¶¹¹û¶³'s Beeson Divinity School, will direct the service.

President George Bush has declared Friday, Sept. 16, as a day of prayer and remembrance for the victims of Katrina.
