Area residents motoring along Lakeshore Drive may wonder about a British flag seen flying on a Â鶹¹û¶³ flagpole.

The Union Jack will be raised today (OCT. 19). A brief 4 p.m. ceremony will signal the beginning of a two-week celebration recognizing the 20th anniversary of Â鶹¹û¶³'s presence in London.

In 1984, Â鶹¹û¶³ acquired property for a London Study Centre. During the past two decades, hundreds of Â鶹¹û¶³ students have lived and studied at Daniel House, a Georgian townhouse located in the heart of London.

Events include an exhibit of photographs made by faculty, student and alumni while in Great Britain. Photos will be on display in the Wright Center Art Gallery, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Oct. 27-Nov. 12. A high tea reception will be held Oct. 29, 4-6 p.m.

Alumni who have studied at Daniel House will meet for a reunion during Homecoming weekend on Oct. 30, 5-7 p.m.
