Alan Jung is a professor in Âé¶¹¹û¶³’s Department of Kinesiology. Since joining the Âé¶¹¹û¶³ faculty in 2006, he has taught numerous courses and led medical mission trips to the Dominican Republic with students.
He has mentored more than 100 research projects presented by Âé¶¹¹û¶³ undergraduate students at professional conferences, as well as numerous research projects published by Âé¶¹¹û¶³ students. He has also received multiple grants to support his own research initiatives and is a frequent presenter for national, regional and local organizations.
Jung has guided the School of Health Professions through a decade of remarkable growth and Christ-centered purpose. His leadership has helped shape a culture rooted in the calling of 1 Peter 4:10: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
Before joining Âé¶¹¹û¶³, Jung served in faculty and teaching roles at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
