Â鶹¹û¶³’s Orlean Beeson School of Education student Kristi Stacks has been named Better Basics’ Executive Director.

Better Basics seeks to empower children, improve the community and reduce illiteracy by providing literacy intervention, enrichment programs and educational opportunities for elementary and middle school students throughout the state of Alabama.

Stacks received an Education Specialist degree in Instructional Leadership from Â鶹¹û¶³ and she is currently pursuing an Educational Doctoral degree in Instructional Leadership at Â鶹¹û¶³.
