The pomp and historic formality of academic ceremony combines with Âé¶¹¹û¶³’s proud 180-year tradition in the installation service for Dr. Beck A. Taylor as Âé¶¹¹û¶³’s 19th president.
Reception for Delegates and Honored Guests
11 a.m. Lobby, Leslie Stephen Wright Fine Arts Center
President and Mrs. Taylor receive official delegates and honored guests at a brunch reception on the university quadrangle.
Inaugural Ball
Hosted by Âé¶¹¹û¶³’s Student Government Association 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. Seibert Hall
Âé¶¹¹û¶³ students, faculty, staff, delegates, and honored guests are invited to attend the Presidential Inaugural Ball. Enjoy delicious food and refreshing beverages while listening to the musical stylings of both Âé¶¹¹û¶³'s renowned Jazz Orchestra and party band, Main Attraction. Celebrate with President and Mrs. Taylor and stay for the crowning of the Homecoming King, Queen, and Court. As the Inaugural Ball is taking place during Homecoming Week, we will celebrate Homecoming during this event as well. Tickets are required; RSVP at the link provided.
